Knife Valves
Knife Gate Valves were originally
developed for the Pulp & Paper Industry, they are now used
extensively across industries as diverse as food production,
pharmaceutical, fish farming, water and effluent treatment
& more. Often called Slide Valves
or Plate Valves, their
robust, full bore, wafer design makes them ideal for Stop
Valve, On/Off or Maintenance Valve duty particularly on fluids
containing solids that may become entangled or quickly foul
other types of valves.
Our hardworking VG Knife Valves
have been designed with the complete range
of actuators and easily accommodate virtually any type of
accessory. Standard sizes from DN50 to DN1200.
Most of the range is available ATEX Certified for Explosive Atmospheres.

Butterfly Valves
Butterfly Valves are
indispensable for both On/Off and Control duty on all types of
fluids. The apparently simple concept of a metal disc
twisting within a pipe to restrict or allow flow has generated
a huge number of different concepts from low cost simple
valves to high spec specialized designs.
Our VP Butterfly Valves are
mid-range with concentric discs, replaceable liners and ISO
5211 mountings either for our ranges of actuators or
customer's own. Wafer pattern, Lugged and Double
Flange Bodies all available. Standard sizes from DN40 to
DN1200.

Check Valves
Check Valves aka Non
Return Valves or One Way Valves
are used to allow flow in one direction but
prevent flow the other way - examples include prevention of
reverse flow after a pump is stopped, keeping legs primed, or
preventing incorrect routing through manifolds.
Our Check Valves ranges cover
Ball Check Valves, Swing Check Valves, Lift Check Valves and
Axial Check Valves in a variety of materials from 3/8 Inch
screwed up to DN1000 flanged. Most can also be supplied
as Foot Valves.

Expansion Joints
Expansion Joints are used to
relieve stress on pipes caused by misalignment or movement.
Our DI Expansion Joints are a
small but effective range of rubber joints from 1/2 inch
screwed to DN600 flanged.

Y Type Strainers
Y Type Strainers are essentially
a removable filter mesh basket held in a Y shaped piece of
pipe. They are used to capture solids and prevent them
damaging equipment down stream.
Our F range of Y Strainers
are available in Brass, Bronze, Cast Iron and Stainless from
3/8 inch screwed to DN400 flanged.
