Tecofi » Check Valves - DN
10 to DN 1000 Brass, Cast Iron, Stainless
The choice of a Non Return Check
Valve depends on a whole host of factors - fluid,
velocity, pressure drop, opening pressure, orientation, cost
etc. We have an extensive range of different types of
Check Valves that cover a huge range of
different applications. Ask our advice on the best valve for
your duty.
Simple, time served designs from DN10 to
DN1000. Types and material variations to suit most process
conditions. Large UK valve stocks backed up by huge stocks at
head office in France.
Ball Check Valves
A rubber coated ball is pushed up the housing by forward
pressure. On reversal the ball drops back onto the seat,
sealing the flow. A simply designed NRV for ascending or
horizontal forward flow available flanged or screwed.

Swing Check Valves
A metal disc swings up like a door for forward flow and
swings back into its seat to shut off. Another simple
design of Non Return Check Valves for ascending or horizontal forward flow available
wafer pattern, flanged or screwed.

Dual Check Valves
Sometimes called a Butterfly Check
Valve or a Twin Plate Check
Valve, in the closed position two metal half
discs are held apart by a spring (assisted by the reverse
pressure), forward pressure causes them to pivot towards each
other and swing off the seat. These Wafer
Type Check Valves are suitable for descending
forward flow in some cases, also ascending or horizontal
forward flow.

Axial Check Valves
A range of None Return Check
Valves with a spring loaded disc. Forward
flow pushes the disc from the seat, compressing the
spring. Reversal allows the spring to reseat the
valve. Good for ascending or horizontal forward flow
and, for some duties with descending forward flow.
Available screwed, wafer and flanged.

Foot Valves
Foot valves are a combination of a check valve and a filter
basket. Generally used on the end of a dip tube to keep
a pump primed and prevent solids from entering. We
can convert virtually any of our Non Return Valves to
Foot Valves.
