Standard Materials

There are two standard material configurations for the wetted parts of our Knife Gate Valves.

Optional Seat Materials

In addition to EPDM and Nitrile our standard range includes White Nitrile, White EPDM, Viton®, White Viton®, Silicone, White Silicone, Hypalon® and PTFE. Changing the seat is only a few minutes work. For applications where a water tight shut off is not necessary we also manufacture the same range with metal-to-metal cast seat. Viton and Hypalon are Registered Trade Marks of DuPont.

Optional Packing Materials

For applications which do not suit the standard Tallowed Cotton packing we stock PTFE Cotton, PTFE, Graphite and a specialised High Temperature packing.

Optional Gate Materials

Alongside 304 and 316 stainless we also produce gates in 310 stainless and Uranus B6 (AISI 904L).

Optional Body Materials

We can produce Knife Valves with a range of different body materials. Our semi-standard range includes Ductile Iron, Cast Steel, 304 and 310 stainless, Uranus B6 (AISI 904L) and Aluminium.
