Electrically Operated Knife Valves, whilst generally slower to operate than air operated are used widely where compressed air or hydraulic power is not available.

Our VG Electric Knife Gate Valves are built following our standard rising spindle design philosophy with the addition of an ISO 5210 mounting. This allows us to fit electric actuators from any of the major manufacturers - Rotork, Auma, Limitorque, Bernard etc. - and allows us to offer any of the standard voltages.

Unlike some manufacturers, all VG Electric Slide Valves are supplied fitted with Stainless protection guards.

Cast Iron valve has epoxy coated body

Stainless valve has self colour body

The whole range of seat materials and accessories suits both Cast Iron bodied and Stainless bodied Electric Plate Valves.

Electric Knife Valve Sizes

The VG Electrically operated Slide Valves are available in the following sizes in both Cast Iron Body and Stainless Body:
